2017 NAHA 450, X-Climb, & Open X Champion
2016 NAHA X-Climb & 700X Champion
BIO: I have been racing the NAHA Hillclimb series for the past 7 years now. I started riding at the age of 3 and now 20 years later racing and riding motorcycles is still my biggest passion. Monday-Friday I work a full time job as a repair technician using mechanical skills mostly acquired from working on bikes with my dad. I do try to ride/train at least twice a week whenever my schedule allows. Between work, racing, and training; free time is almost non-existent. However, I’ve embraced everything that comes along with racing and let my passion continue to motivate me. I wouldn’t want it any other way!
SPONSORS: Team Unlimited Racing, IRC Tire, Maxima oil, MotionPro, FastHouse, FMF, Mika Metals, DirtTricks, Unlimited Moto Sports.
- What are your goals for 2018?/Future? My goal for the remainder of 2017 and into the 2018 season is to prepare myself as well as my bikes to defend my 2017 championships.
- What was your most memorable sporting moment? My most memorable sporting moment would have to be the 450 class at this years’ Big Nasty Hillclimb. The championship came down to the last race between Jake Anstett and myself. Whoever won would take home the number one plate. Under serious pressure and nerves I gave it everything I had my second run and sure enough I was able to come out on top. The feeling of accomplishment was so immense nothing else can compare.
- What is your favorite NAHA venue and why? My Favorite NAHA venue is the North West Nitro Nationals in Sunnyside, Washington. This event suits my style with a motocross style bottom into a traditional style hillclimb on top. I’m fortunate enough to ride both styles of hills decently, so with the combination at the “NWNN” I tend to do pretty well. Besides the hill, this venue is also my favorite because of the professionalism the promoters bring. Everything is very well laid out and the event runs smooth every year. This is something I really appreciate and hope other venues continue to get on board with.
