Nominate new representatives for next year’s board members. Only one nomination so far.

Do we want to count this as a point’s event? (YES)

NAHA rules currently state that it recognizes Amateur classes. Will anyone volunteer to help organize next year’s effort towards tracking amateur points?( Jim Meyer has volunteered)

Vote to remove the amateur wording from the NAHA rules. (NO)

Do we want to change to two Champions? One, being Open Exhibition Champion and the Other being the 700 Exhibition Champion? (YES, EFFECTIVE 2005 SEASON)

Do we do away with the overall Champion that accumulates points from all the classes? (YES EFFECTIVE 2005) As a result of this season’s points, there will be an overall champion for the 2004 season. 2004 point’s will go towards the two champion system.

Do we enforce the 66" rubber tire length at every event? (YES) and will be checked by NAHA.

Should riders be allowed to share bikes at any NAHA event? Tabled the discussion.

If a promoter doesn’t adhere to our NAHA rules do we automatically make that event an outlaw event and not designate it as an NAHA point’s event? The questionnaire that was used this year will remain in use to assist in that type of decision.

Discuss next seasons schedule. Skips is in April. (YES) Widowmaker in June? (Still not decided) Halter Ranch event in May (Sounds like 90% positive) Great American in July (YES)

Voted to hire a person to run the NAHA. Please keep an eye and ear out for a person that would be good for this job. Someone who’s not a rider, would run with ideas and necessary tasks which need to be done every year. Last they should be self employed with out high demands from an 8 hour a day previous commitment.

NAHA really needs volunteers for new board members, rule committees, and tech inspectors.
